In 2018 Severstal bought 20.6 billion rubles worth of products and services from Vologda region enterprises, up by 750 million YoY.
The share of the region in the total volume of Severstal purchases last year grew from 16% to 18%.
The main reason for the increase is the large investment program at Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works. Thus, the company increased purchases of transportation services, machinery and spare parts, as well as construction and repair services in the region. (Ukrainian metal)
