In 2018 Gaysky Mining and Processing Works extracted 8 million tons of ore, up by 1 million tons YoY.
The record high output is due to the constant modernization of the enterprise since 2006.
Since then the shafts of the Ekspluatatsionnaya and Kletevaya mines have been deepened to 1420 meters, and the shaft of the Skipovaya mine has been repaired.
An additional mine named Severnaya Ventilyatsionnaya-2 is being constructed.
All this will help Gaysky GOK reach the output level of 9 million tons of ore by 2021. (Ukrainian metal)
