In November 2018 Russia imported 33.5 thousand tons of flat galvanized metal, down by 25.6% YoY.
According to the customs statistics, in January-November 2018 imports fell by 10.3%, to 629.3 thousand tons.
The main supplier was Kazakhstan – 280 thousand tons, down by 7.6% YoY. The average price was $759 per ton without VAT.
It was followed by China (136.4 thousand tons, down by 8.7%, $803.5 per ton) and South Korea (86.6 thousand tons, up by 2.6%, $903.7).
Ukraine dropped to the fourth position having decreased deliveries by one third, to 79 thousand tons ($656.1). (Ukrainian metal)
