In November Russia produced 5.68 million tons of steel, down by 4% YoY, with 5.866 million tons of steel manufactured in October.
In 11 months steel output grew by 0.9% YoY, to 65.812 million tons.
Ukraine, though no longer a part of CIS, decreased steel output in November by 11.2% YoY, to 1.658 million tons (1.788 million tons in October) and by 1.1% in 11 months, to 19.214 million tons.
Kazakhstan produced 370 thousand tons of steel in November, down by 11.1% YoY (380 thousand tons), and 4.183 million tons in 11 months, down by 0.8%.
Belarus manufactured 215 thousand tons of steel in November, flat YoY (220 thousand tons), and increased output by 4.8% YoY in January-November, to 2.237 million tons.
Uzbekistan increased steel output by 7.1% YoY in November, to 60 thousand tons (as in October), and by 3%, to 621 thousand tons in 11 months.
Moldova produced 50 thousand tons of steel in November, down by 23.1% YoY (flat MoM), and 518 thousand tons in January-November, up by 24.5%.
All in all CIS countries in November produced 8.033 million tons of steel, down by 5.9% YoY (8.364 million tons in October), and 92.585 million tons in 11 months, up by 0.6% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
