This season Sakhalin has extracted 63 kg of alluvial gold.
The only team operating at the sites is Vostoc-2.
This year the goal was 70 kg of gold. Because of the low gold content in the sand the team failed to reach the goal.
Last year Vostoc-2 yielded 64 kg of gold.
Next year the season will start in March and finish in mid-November. Voctoc-2 intends to extract up to 65 kg of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
