Mutual increase of purchases of in-demand goods will help expand trade and economic relations between Belarus and Ukraine, as Paramjit Kahlon, Chief Executive Officer of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, mentioned in his speech at Ukrainian-Belarusian forum “Cooperation and partnership”.
The forum has been held in Kriviy Rih for the first time. Igor Sokol, the Ambassador of Republic of Belarus in Ukraine, Piotr Parkhomchik, Chief Executive Officer, BelAZ company, city administration representatives, faculty members of Kriviy Rih Technical University, student, heads of large industrial enterprises of the city participated in the forum.
Igor Sokol: “Dniepropetrovsk region is on the second place among Ukrainian regions in export of Belarusian goods and gives way only to Kyiv. This is achieved thanks to industrial enterprises of Kriviy Rih city. Holding of this forum has become an evidence of productive trade and economic relations between Belarus and Ukraine”.
Paramjit Kahlon: “Mutually beneficial cooperation between Ukrainian and Belarusian enterprises can shift to a new level in case of increasing purchases of in-demand goods – then this will become one more step on the way to successful partnership between two countries. Ukraine purchases a lot of Belarusian goods, in particular, our plant is one of the largest clients of BelAZ company. I hope that Republic of Belarus in its turn will increase purchases of Ukrainian goods including rolled steel products of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih”. (AMKR/Ukrainian metal)
