Uzbekistan is carrying out a project to construct in the city of Tashkent a metal plant of the new generation to produce cold-rolled sheet with coating.
The plant is expected to be commissioned in Q4 2019.
Investments are estimated at EUR 286.7 million.
The design capacity of Tashkent Iron and Steel Works will be 0.5 million tons per year, including 0.2 million tons of hot-dip galvanized metal and 0.3 million tons of polymer-coated metal. (Ukrainian metal)
