In April-June Korshunovsky Mining and Processing Works increased ore mining by 30% QoQ, to 1.6 million tons. In Q3 ore output grew by 13% more, to 1.8 million tons.
In Q2 iron ore concentrate manufacture totaled 522 thousand tons, up by 48% QoQ, and in Q3 – 609 thousand tons, up by 17%.
“Early in the year we have faced the problem of developing difficult sites and the need for the soonest technical modernization. During the year we have been gradually solving these issues. So far we have commissioned 12 BelAZs, a new drilling machine, 2 bulldozers and a number of other machines. We are sure of positive dynamics in Q4”, the company managing director Mikhail Mazhukin said. (Ukrainian metal)
