According to the forecast of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation domestic steel rolled products output will reach 61.5 million tons in 2018, up by 0.9% YoY.
Rolled products export is expected to reach 28 million tons (+0.3%), and import – 5.5 million tons (+1.4%). Rolled stock domestic consumption will reach 39 million tons in 2018 (+1.4%).
Reportedly, steel tubes output will be 11.1 million tons in 2018 (-3%), export – 2 million tons (-6.4%), and import – 0.52 million tons (-27.7%). Steel tubes domestic consumption will drop by 4% YoY, to 9.6 million tons. (MetalInfo/Ukrainian metal)
