In July world pig iron output grew by 6% YoY, to 107.767 million tons, according to World Steel Association.
As usual, China is leading with 67.515 million tons.
Ukraine produced 1.767 million tons of pig iron, securing the 9th place, followed by Taiwan with 1.3 million tons.
In August Ukraine produced 1.733 million tons of pig iron and in 8 months – 13.65 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
