Uzbekistan: Tashkent Works to be built on Russia’s money

The state Roseximbank will provide a loan of over 140 million euro for the construction of Tashkent Iron and Steel Works.

The bank has signed a loan agreement with Asaka and Uzpromstroybank, which are financing the project.

The project envisages the development of the main manufacturing lines and infrastructure objects, the supply of machinery, training of personnel and the guarantee maintenance of machinery.

The main contractor of the construction is the Uzbek state enterprise MetProm. (Ukrainian metal)
