Erunakovskaya-VIII mine has started extracting coal from the new long face 48-6.
The reserves of the site are estimated at 2.9 million tons of coking coal.
The long face is situated at the depth of over 500 meters.
It is planned to mine 250-300 thousand tons of coal per month.
The mine is the youngest coalmining enterprise of Raspadskaya Coal Company. Last year it yielded 3 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
