Russia: BGOK tests magnetite concentrate drying shop

The magnetite (iron ore) concentrate drying shop of the Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Works has been commissioned.

The first batch of the dry iron ore concentrate will be shipped on October 1.

Concentrate drying to decrease its moisture will be carried out from October till April.

The shop has three drying cylinders with the capacity of 165.7 tons per hour each.

The technique allows decreasing concentrate moisture from 8.5% to 1.5%. (Ukrainian metal)
