In June the Volgogradsky subsidiary of Severstal Steel Ropes produced 624 tons of large diameter ropes.
The ropes were produced on the new machine commissioned in 2017.
The machine produces 6- and 8-strand steel ropes with the diameter of 28 to 100 mm used in mines and on excavators.
“The output was 2 times as high as planned. Moreover, this is the highest output a month in the past three years”, Severstal-Metiz CEO Sergey Kovryakov said. (Ukrainian metal)
