In January-June Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works increased rolled metal output by 9% YoY, to 1.45 million tons.
Steel manufacture grew by 8.5%, to 1.61 million tons, and pig iron – by 23%, to 2.3 million tons.
In June the company produced 245 thousand tons of rolled metal, 274 thousand tons of steel and 383 thousand tons of pig iron as opposed to 263 thousand tons, 277 thousand tons and 390 thousand tons in May respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
