The current capacities of the domestic manufacturers of extrusion packing are able to cover the whole demand on the local market, which will greatly increase aluminum consumption.
At present the consumption of aluminum cylinders, bottles and pipes is growing.
Russian aluminum packaging is successfully used by cosmetics, pharmacological and food companies not only of Russia, but of foreign countries as well.
The capacities of companies, which are part of Aluminum Association, can completely satisfy the demand of the market. 95% of the domestic market of aluminum cylinders are covered by local companies. Total consumption reaches 8 thousand tons per year.
With the support of the Aluminum Association, aluminum consumption for the manufacture of extrusion packing could exceed 20 thousand tons in 5 years. (Ukrainian metal)
