Russia: Bystrinsky GOK sends first products to customers

Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Works has shipped the first batch of products – 1.5 thousand tons of copper concentrate – to China.

By the end of the month 3 thousand tons more will be shipped.

Bystrinsky GOK was constructed by Nornickel in 2017 in the hard-to-reach part of Zabaykalye region, and is now being commissioned. In 2019, when the works reaches its full capacity, it will produce some 3 million tons of magnetite concentrate and 260 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year. (Ukrainian metal)
