In 2018 Belarus Iron and Steel Works intends to supply $240 million worth of metal to Ukrainian market.
“That’s around 300 thousand tons. Our plans are ambitious, but we have a certain strategy of work on that market, and we expect a 10-20% growth per year in mid-term”, the company marketing specialist Tatiana Vaskevich declared.
She said that for BMZ the period of large growth on Ukrainian market had passed. In 2017 deliveries increased almost 6-fold.
“First of all, we had a low base. Secondly, Ukrainian market has become more active, and the economy started growing. They are our neighbors. And that’s one of the most promising markets for us”, Vaskevich added. (Ukrainian metal)
