From March 1 Severstal has started selling locked-coil ropes in metal drums only.
The drum is included in the price, but could be bought out by the company.
“The main goal of the innovation is to keep the rope safe while loading, transporting and unloading. The wooden drum could break, which could damage the rope. With metal packaging, the client gets a kind of guarantee to receive the rope as it has been shipped from the works”, Severstal Steel Ropes director Vyacheslav Shiryaevsky noted. (Ukrainian metal)
