Metinvest intends to acquire Unisteel LLC, the producer of cold-rolled galvanized metal.
Metinvest-SMC LLC has already filed a corresponding request to the Antimonopoly Committee.
As the result of the purchase the Metinvest-SMC share in Unisteel will exceed 50%.
Unisteel with the capacity of 100 thousand tons of galvanized metal per year was constructed in 2007-2010.
In 2016 the company received 83.58 million UAH of net loss, up from 208.45 million UAH in 2015. (Ukrainian metal)
