In 2017 NLMK-Metiz increased wire production by 18% YoY, to 274 thousand tons.
Nails output grew by 6%, to 30.6 thousand tons, and self-tappers – to 5.8 thousand tons.
“Output growth is mostly the result of our products competitiveness increase on world markets”, the company said.
NLMK-Metiz is among 5 largest manufacturers of metal wares in Russia. Its share of the Russian market is over 20%.
To produce metal wares the company uses NLMK-Ural wire rod. (Ukrainian metal)
