In 2017 Izhstal increased output of high added value products manufacture.
The highest growth was seen in cold-rolled belt – by 31%. Gauged bars manufacture increased by 5%, to 12.3 thousand tons. Metal wares output grew by 4% YoY, to 13.6 thousand tons.
Sales to machine-building companies fell almost 2-fold last year. At the same time, sales to mining and oil companies increased by 44% and by 21% respectively. Car manufacturers received 2% more metal.
The continuous casting machine produced 252 thousand tons of steel, up by 20% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
