In 2017 Severstal delivered some 180 thousand tons of rolled metal to Russian manufacturers of household appliances and industrial packaging, up by 10% YoY.
The increase has to do with the growth of the client base and consumption.
“Deliveries to Russian manufacturers of household appliances increased last year by 33%, to 58 thousand tons. Having opened the new shop of metal coating No. 3 Severstal will be able to increase its product range for such clients, replace import analogues and enter new prospective market segments”, Severstal Russian Steel CEO Vadim Germanov said.
