In 2017 Norilsk Nickel decreased nickel output by 8% YoY, to 217.112 thousand tons.
According to the company statement, copper output grew by 11%, to 401.083 thousand tons. Palladium manufacture increased by 6%, to 2.78 million ounces, and platinum – by 4%, to 670 thousand ounces.
The company operational director Sergey Dyachenko said, that in 2018 further copper output growth was expected. (Ukrainian metal)
