In October Russia produced 6.225 million tons of steel, up by 5% YoY, with 6.025 million tons produced in September.
In January-October steel output in Russia totaled 60.428 million tons, up by 3% YoY.
Ukraine decrease output in October by 4.7% YoY, to 1.91 million tons (1.845 million tons in September), and by 10.9% YoY in 10 months, to 18.048 million tons.
Kazakhstan in October produced 395 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 11.3% YoY (380 thousand tons in September). In January-October the output totaled 3.799 million tons, up by 8% YoY.
Belarus increased steel output by 10.8% YoY, to 235 thousand tons in October (225 thousand tons in September) and by 13% YoY, to 2.073 million tons in 10 months.
Uzbekistan produced 60 thousand tons of steel in October, up by 17.6% YoY (the same in September), and 562 thousand tons in 10 months, down by 0.5% YoY.
Moldova in October manufactured 45 thousand tons of steel, up by 275% YoY (the same in September), and 333 thousand tons in 10 months, up by 301.2% YoY.
All in all, in October CIS countries produced 8.87 million tons of steel, up by 3.6% YoY (8.58 million tons in September), and 85.243 million tons in 10 months, up by 0.4% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
