The coal-preparing shop No. 2 of Avdiivka Coke and Chemical Works decreased electricity consumption by 90 thousand kW this year.
The shop operates two powerful magnets, which remove metal particles from the charge. They are hung on the cranes over the conveyer belt and constantly consume electricity.
The works has developed the scheme to switch the magnets on and off together with the conveyer. (Ukrainian metal)
