In January-October Ukraine exported 31.72 million tons of iron ore and concentrate valued at $2.179 billion.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the share of iron ore and concentrate in the total exports was 6.2%.
The largest volumes of iron ore and concentrate were exported to China – $600.559 million (27.5% of the total iron ore exports), followed by Slovakia ($257.583 million, 11.8%) and Poland ($236.07 million, 10.8%). Other countries imported $1.085 billion worth of iron ore (49.8%).
In October iron ore and concentrate exports totaled 2.968 million tons valued at $216.285 million. The major buyers were China ($44.853 million), Slovakia ($33.904 million) and Poland ($27.369 million). Other countries imported $110.159 million worth of iron ore.
In January-October Ukraine imported 204.909 thousand tons of iron ore and concentrate valued at $21.821 million.
The main supplier was Russia – $21.751 million (99.7%). (Ukrainian metal)
