In January-August Kazakhmys produced 151.2 thousand tons of cathode copper, up by 6% YoY.
Average copper contents in the ore totaled 0.96%, which is higher than last year (0.94%) and by 4.2% from the planned.
In 8 months the corporation mined 18852.341 thousand tons of ore, factories processed 19 million tons.
In 2017 Kazakhmys intends to produce 232.4 thousand tons of cathode copper. (Ukrainian metal)
