In January-September Ukraine produced 15.762 million tons of steel, down by 14% YoY.
Pig iron manufacture dropped by 18%, to 14.626 million tons, of rolled metal – by 16%, to 13.469 million tons, of coke – by 21%, to 7.696 million tons.
At the same time pipe output increased by 26%, to 784 thousand tons.
In September the average daily production of coke was 28.2 thousand tons, pig iron – 61.8 thousand tons, steel – 64.5 thousand tons, rolled metal – 55.4 thousand tons, and pipes – 3.1 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
