Zagorsky Pipe Works has successfully tested pipes with the new coating.
Metalen PE-21 is the most promising development from Metalclay in pipe insulation. It is a single-layer polyethylene coating, which excludes the usage of an adhesive when applying external protection to the pipe surface.
After all the technical conditions are included in the Gazprom Registry of pipe products, ZTZ will be using Metalen PE-21 when producing pipes for the gas company. (Ukrainian metal)
