Ukraine: pipe output up in January-July 2017

In January-July the major pipe companies produced 602.9 thousand tons of ferrous pipes, up by 29.2% YoY, including 102.1 thousand tons in July.

Ukrtruboprom enterprises produced 403.6 thousand tons of pipes, up by 36.9% (67.5 thousand tons in July).

Khartsyzsk Pipe Works, situated on the Ukraine-uncontrolled territory, produced 3.4 thousands tons of pipes, up from 2.8 thousand tons in January-July 2016.

Interpipe-NTZ increased output by 76.8%, to 150.6 thousand tons (28.3 thousand tons), Interpipe NMTZ decreased by 10%, to 56.1 thousand tons (9.1 thousand tons). Interpipe Niko Tube increased output by 43.6%, to 166.1 thousand tons (26.9 thousand tons).

Dniepropetrovsk Pipe Works produced 12.1 thousand tons of pipes, down by 21.4% (0.7 thousand tons). Centravis increased output by 2.9%, to 10.5 thousand tons of stainless pipes (1.7 thousand tons), Trubostal – by 12.5%, to 1.8 thousand tons (0.3 thousand tons), UTiST – by 87.5%, to 3 thousand tons (0.5 thousand tons).

Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, not a part of Ukrtruboprom, increased pipe output by 69.9%, to 87.5 thousand tons (15 thousand tons). Kominmet decreased by 7.1%, to 111.8 thousand tons (19.6 thousand tons).

Lugansk Pipe-Rolling Works and AG Stal LLC were idle. (Ukrainian metal)
