In June world pig iron manufacture increased by 2.1% YoY, to 99.603 million tons, according to the World Steel Association.
China remains the world leader with 61.678 million tons of pig iron produced in June.
Ukraine is on the 9th position, having produced 1.52 million tons of pig iron.
In January-June Ukraine produced 10.957 million tons of pig iron, down by 22% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
