The Electrocable Kolchugino Works has assembled the new machinery valued at 3 million rubles. It will allow the company to increase medium and high voltage (up to 110 kW) power cable output.
The new taping and armoring machines have been incorporated in the existing line.
“The necessity to improve the line resulted from the increase of orders on armored cables. But the assembly of the machines is just one of the steps of the large-scale modernization program. In a couple of years we will invest several billion rubles into development”, the company director Vladimir Ivanov said. (Ukrainian metal)
