Ukraine: pipes output up in H1 2017

In January-June Ukraine produced 500.2 thousand tons of pipes, up by 26% YoY, including 93.8 thousand tons in June.

Ukrtrubprom enterprises increased output by 34.6%, to 335.4 thousand tons of pipes, with 64.4 thousand tons in June.

Khazrtsyzsk Pipe Works, situated in the uncontrolled territory, produced 3.4 thousand tons of pipes (2.8 thousand tons in H1 2016).

Interpipe-NTZ increased output by 64.4%, to 121.5 thousand tons (25.9 thousand tons in June), Interpipe NMTZ decreased by 10.6%, to 47.2 thousand tons (9.4 thousand tons), Interpipe Niko Tube increased by 46.2%, to 139.2 thousand tons (25.8 thousand tons).

Dniepropetrovsk Pipe Works produced 11.4 thousand tons of pipes, up by 12.3% (1.3 thousand tons), Centravis – 8.8 thousand tons (1.2 thousand tons).

Trubostal increased output by 15.4%, to 1.5 thousand tons (0.3 thousand tons), UTiST – by 84.6%, to 2.4 thousand tons (0.5 thousand tons).

Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produced 72.7 thousand tons, up by 65.6% (13.3 thousand tons), Kominmet – 92.1 thousand tons, down by 11.4% (16.1 thousand tons).
