Russia: MMK net profits up in H1 2017

In January-June Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works increased its net profits by 35.8% YoY, to 32.287 billion rubles ($538 million).

According to the company statement, its earnings totaled 185.308 billion rubles ($3.088 billion), up by 17.5% YoY. Gross profit increased by 7.5%, to 48.863 billion rubles ($814 million), EBITDA – by 23.8%, to 40.016 billion rubles ($667 million).

MMK fixed liabilities as of June 30 totaled 47.912 billion rubles, up by 23% from the year start. Short-term liabilities dropped by 17.4%, to 45.714 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
