In H2 Russian Copper Company intends to start construction at the Tominskoye deposits of copper-porphyry ores in Chelyabinsk region.
According to the group vice president Maxim Schibrik, this is the key investment, which will considerably improve quality ad boost output. Investments in 4 years will total 65.9 billion rubles.
The project will be carried out in two stages. The first presupposes the construction of a mine with underground infrastructure and the first stage processing factory with the capacity of 14 million tons of ore per year. Then the second stage of the factory will be constructed, bringing the total capacity to 28 million tons.
The first stage of the project will be completed in late 2019, and the second – in late 2021. Tominsky GOK will produce around 100-110 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year. (Ukrainian metal)
