Russia: Uchaly GOK profits halved in Q1 2017

In January-March Uchaly Mining and Processing Works, a part of UMMC, received 560.8 million rubles of net profits, down 2-fold YoY.

The company earnings dropped by 1.2%, to 5.4 billion rubles, while the product cost price increased by 20.7%, to 4.1 billion rubles.

Uchaly GOK sells copper and zinc concentrates.

The company accounts payable increased from 1.99 billion rubles to 2.26 billion rubles, and accounts receivable – from 5.48 billion to 5.63 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
