As of March, Ukraine remained on the 11th position among 67 steel producers from the World Steel Association.
Ukraine produced 2.105 million tons of steel in March, down by 4.5%, while Italy increased output by 9.5%, to 2.232 million tons, thus securing the 10th position.
In CIS steel production increased by 4% in March, to 25.9 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
