In 2017 Novokuznetsk Aluminum Works, a part of RUSAL, will increase its investments by 27.3%, to 280 million rubles.
According to the company managing director Victor Zhirnakov, aluminum output will remain on the 2016 level – 213 thousand tons.
180 million rubles will be invested in various environment protection measures, and 100 million rubles – in the technical development of the works, in particular the replacement of machinery.
The environment program begun in 2016 will be implemented by 2021. (Ukrainian metal)
