On March 1-13, the average daily metal output dropped by 7-9% MoM.
According to Ukrmetallurgprom, as of March 14, 17 out of 28 blast furnaces (61%), 13 out of 21 converters (62%), 7 out of 9 open-hearth furnaces (78%) and 6 out of 16 arc-furnaces were in operation.
Alchevsk, Yenakievo and Donetskstal Iron and Steel Works, as well as the Yasinovskiy Coke Plant, all of them on the uncontrolled territories, are idle.
Mariupol Ilyich and Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works experience metallurgical coke shortages because of the railroad blockade.
