Pereyaslovsky open-pit mine, a part of Russian Coal, Krasnoyarsk Krai, has mined the 75-millonth ton of coal.
January also saw the record railroad shipments of coal – 713 thousand tons. Total coal delivery from the mine reached 733 thousand tons.
The Pereyaslovsky mine was put into operation in 1983. Its project capacity is 7 million tons of coal per year.
In 5 years Russian Coal intends to increase capacity of all its Krasnoyarsk Krai assets to 10.3 million tons of coal per year. (Ukrainian metal)
