In 2016 revenues from Donetsk region exports (not counting the ATO zone) totaled $3.4 billion, down by 7.2% YoY.
Still, the region accounted for 9.4% of all the export revenue in Ukraine, being third only after Kiev and Dniepropetrovsk region.
Donetsk region exported to 105 countries in 2016. Almost half of export revenue accounts for the European market.
In particular, ferrous metals amounted to 76.3% in the total export volume, or $2.6 billion, down by 4% YoY.
