The administration of the Kemerovo region has signed an agreement on socio-economical cooperation with Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, which owns several mines, a processing factory and service companies in the area.
This year coal output in the region is expected to increase by 1 million tons.
The company will spend 0.5 million rubles on social programs, including the preparations for the Miner’s Day, children vocations and veterans’ support. The average salary at the group will increase by 7%. (Ukrainian metal)
