In 2016 the Industrial-Metallurgical Holding, the largest coke manufacturer and pig iron supplier in Russia, mined 2.21 million tons of coking coal, up by 16.8% YoY.
According to the company statement, its coal concentrate production increased by 19.8% YoY, to 2.637 million tons, while that of iron ore – by 1.2%, to 5.023 million tons, and of iron ore concentrate – by 1%, to 2.25 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
