On October 26, the chairman of the Volyn regional state administration Vladimir Gunchik had a phone conversation with the minister of energy and coal industry Igor Nasalik on the Volynugol situation, Novovolynskaya mine No. 10 construction and salary debts to miners.
The parties have reached the agreement that by the end of the week 100% of the August salary debts to Volynugol miners will be cleared, a well as 50% of the September debts. And the officials have promised to clear all salary debts for September and October by November 15.
Next week the mine will receive 1 million UAH and by November 10, around 2 millions more. All this money will be spent to pay salary. (Ukrainian metal)
