Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has started producing high-strength hot-rolled coil of S460MS grade according to EN 10149-2.
“This rolled metal is used in machine-building, that needs high strength and low weight of wares”, said the company in its statement.
The first 120 tons of the new metal have been delivered to Poland.
The sheet-rolling shop 1700 has also started producing hot-rolled metal for gas bottles according to JIS G 3116. The first batch of coils with 3×1060 mm of SG255 steel grade was shipped to Lebanon. (Ukrainian metal)
