ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih is updating its converter No. 6, having installed the slag control manipulator.
The new equipment will decrease manufacturing expenses and improve steel quality.
The manipulator was supplied by Monocon. The same equipment has already been assembled at converter No. 5. After it was put into operation the slag layer in the steel ladle decreased from 300 mm to 100 mm. (Ukrainian metal)
