In January-May Ukrainian metal companies received 1.17 million tons of scrap, down by 14% YoY.
In May companies received 300 thousand tons of scrap, up by 40 thousand tons MoM, or 80% of their needs. Scrap stocks in May remained unchanged and as of June 1, totaled 80 thousand tons.
In January-May scrap exports reached 210 thousand tons as opposed to 500 thousand tons in January-May 2015. May saw exports on the level of 110 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
