In January-May Yenakievo Iron and Steel Works produced 880 thousand tons of pig iron, up by 56% YoY.
According to a company representative, steel smelting increased by 37.8%, to 879 thousand tons, and pig iron output grew by 52.5%, to 839 thousand tons, all YoY.
In May the works produced 195 thousand tons of rolled metal, 197 thousand tons of steel and 190 thousand tons of pig iron, as opposed to 183 thousand tons, 181 thousand tons and 171 thousand tons in April respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
