DTEK welcomes the transition to the new technique of calculating the price, where the coal price is linked with the European coal price index (API2).
“Still we don’t feel any positive effect of the new technique yet. But the whole idea of bringing Ukrainian price to international market indexes is a correct decision, as the previous systems had a lot of ways of administrative or political intrusion and abuses”, said the company CEO Maxim Timchenko.
